An example of an Octagon pre-engineered building

The dual pitch roof of the Octagon is accomplished using Space-Frames technology -- a series of tension and compression rings. The lower pitch roof allows for a longer overhang at the eave, while the higher pitch adds a dramatic effect to the cathedral ceiling.
